Default car has lost 2nd 4th and reverse gears

AS per the title

Driving home I have lost 2nd 4th and reverse on my Sierra 4x4 J plate. I can select 1st 3rd and 5th but it seems that the neautral has moved further back towards the handbrake if that makes sense

Any ideas ?

its possible 2 of the 4 linkage bracket bolts have come loose and fell out
lift up the 2 gaitors and have a look or get underneath and have a look
seen it before

edit read it again i'm certain the 2 front ones have fell out the linkage bracket is lifting at the front as you pull the gear lever back

Steve you are correct, the 2 forward bolts had come loose allowing the bracket to tilt backwards. Not an easy fix but certainly a cheap one
