Default rear number plate trim removal

Hi all

may seem a stupid question but anyone know how to remove the number plate trim?

looking on the inside it appears screwed in back to front but looking at back there is no screw????

Screw is here
And there it is from rear!

Remove lights and number plate. Using a plastic trim tool it will prise off.

Back in the day all us 2wd boys fitted the smoked rear lights and number plate surround to make them look newer. I used to remove the studs and use double sided number plate tape and the number plate fixings to hold mine on. Many drilled the holes so had to have them welded up at later date when standard was the way to go.

How times change.

haha that makes me laugh cause today I was thinking about putting the side repeaters back to yellow from clear!!!

The money is in originality when they become classic I guess!

Bloody original old stock sides are really expensive seen them for 100 quid for a pair.
