I can get a Sierra 3door with saff cosworth running gear. But the body and interior need some bodywork to make it a full replica. What is a replice worth nowadays? A neat original cosworth goes above 30K euro's round here in the netherlands.

that's not alot :O was thinking about a full rebuild he had already done the engine and the gearbox. But can't do that if it's worth 15k.

And what if i build everything into a 909 shell? don't know the prices there aren't a whole bunch around here

 

To be honest any car is only worth what someone will pay.
some cosworths over here are very overpriced yet some with extensive mods and a history seem to be under priced.
Depends what the new owner wants.

 

And that's just it the parts cost and rebuild costs involved are so high would you really want to pay that on a rep

 

needs some paint, a set of bumpers and a full interior. The rest i can do myself. some paint prepping i can do also. But he wants 6.5k for it. Then it's hard to break even but it is possible. The body is hard and dent free.
Just need some parts and everything resprayed. I can spray pretty okay but won't do the outside of a car.

 

depends if the kit is genuine and other parts. The more parts that are genuine the more it will be worth

 

was planning to use original parts for the body exterior. don't know about the interior tho... Doing a full body strip down painting the complete shell and zinc-plate and paint all loose parts. Engine and gearbox were rebuilt not long ago.
The paint is still in good condition. but i think magenta red is weird colour for a 3 door and guess that colour won't help on the price either.

so this car is pretty overpriced? If i could sell it for around 20 it would be worth to do it.

The only thing with that ebay one is the listing doesn't tell you about what suspension and brakes it has and the general spec, im sure someone would pay more for one that has a decent spec.

I'd be interested in seeing pictures of the magenta car there used to be one local to me in magenta but he's having it repainted at the minute a different colour, my replica is pearlescent blue and in the paint shop getting a refresh

 

Original bodykit is a lot of money now.

You can buy really good copies from xsport racing.

 

Never seen a rep go for 20k highest I've seen listed was 17k and it keeps comming back up now and then it is a good one in black I was very tempted to offer 15 for it magenta 3 door nah
