Hello all

Trying to work out if the colour of my Sierra is original.

States colour 03 on the VIN plate. Any idea what that colour is?

 

First digit 0 - Champagne Gold 82/ Regal Red 87/Matisse Blue/Ontario Blue.
Second digit - Paint model year (2 - 82, 3 - 83 and so on)
So I would say yours should be Champagne Gold and the paint year is correct.
Should also be on the bottom line of the coloured build plate but I only have information for the cosworths which were only
B WIT - Diamond White
A Zwart - Black or
K Moonstone Blauw - Moonstone Blue
on the MK 1's

Hello David - thank you so much for this reply - that's really helpful. I thought it looked like Champagne Gold now, but I was't sure it had always been that colour (although it does look pretty original).
