Stolen !!!
Hi all,
My lock up has been broken into , they have stole the following parts from my sapphire Cossie, plus keep your eyes peeled for;
Coolant pipes ( blue roose I think )
boost hoses ( blue again roose I think )
piper cross induction kit
air injectors
GGR Dump valve
chrome header tank
chrome cam belt cover
chrome mirror ( sits on inside of the bonnet) with cosworth on it. They also damage the bonnet doing this.
Chrome fuse box cover
they have also broke the steering lock , ripped number plates off, pretty sure all that saved her was the brakes are mega stuck on.

Police ARE not interested in your stolen parts they only become interested when you give the scum a kicking for stealing your stuff.
All scum get away with it, well known fact in the UK.

I'm gutted for you matey. I defo think they would of had the car away. The thing is now they know it's there so will they come back for it.
This is one of the reasons I'm scared to use my saff more,ie like going to the supermarket. I'm scared In case I come out and some one has nicked parts of my car.

I wonder what the percentage of scum bag low life Cosworth owners are left out there compared to the genuine ones who have worked hard for their toys, surely All the parts that are stolen are for their own or friends cars or would they still be stupid enough to still sell them on eBay etc.

unfortunately I agree with this. The chances of getting the bits back are pretty much 0. The bits theyve taken are the sort of bits most of us have bought and changed our minds about many times before so people wouldnt really question anyone selling them.

I have a sapp and a 3 door and always paranoid about them for this reason. I might have a few bits and hoses left in the garage from my sapp after Jano rebuilt last year it if it gets you out of trouble let me know if i can help out.

A mate of mine had the same thing happen to him a couple of years ago.
There seems be a lot more of this happening these days. I had to sell my 16 plate Golf GTI on Friday as my house was burgled on Tuesday last week for the 3rd time in 18 months (house completely turned over but nothing taken which police confirmed they were after the keys to the Golf which weren't there anyway). I got rid as 1: I'm fed up of it keep happening and 2: I can't run the risk of them breaking in for the car if I'm home with my little girl as that would be absolutely terrifying for her.
I hope you get your bits back mate and hope the scum get what they deserve but dare I say it, they'll probably just get a slap on the wrist.

The punishment will be shit and is never enough to put the scrotes off from doing it again, hopefully you will get it back even if it is in bits.
Maybe name and shame mate once the legalities are over because like Fuzzy said they could be known on here or other forums.
