Looking for a good engine machining shop in or around Derbyshire
Who knows the Cosworth engine and has worked on previously
Does anyone know someone they can recommend

As mentioned already talk to Karl at Norris motorsport, he can get any machining work you req done no problem.

I said ask Mark Shead...as in who he would recommend. Mark doesn't machine....just the same as Karl NMS doesn't according to the posts above.

Calm down, the op asked for recommendations in and around Derby, I didn’t know Mark was based up there that’s all.

Karl does certain things himself in house and other things done locally.

Go direct to get machining done as all tuners will add on there % for there time.

HT Howard have done loads of YB engines long studs etc.

Or your choice of engine builder should be able to get it done. But again at a increased cost.

I guess it depends on what you actually want doing to, anyone can go into a machine shop and get stuff done but who’s to say that specification would be correct, I’m guessing why the op stated someone that knows the cossie engine well.
That’s why you pay the tuner knowledge...
