hi guys,

new to the forums and i guess new to diesels.

so after a purchase of the above named car mainly a 2009 ford focus 1.6 tdci i was driving it home pulled onto the motorway pulling to the national speed limit in 4th from about 50 to 70mph when i had an engine malfunction light pop up on the cluster. this when checked with an odb gave me the code of "turbo underboost".

so i trawlled the forums looked at everyones post related to this code to check the following:

all hoses for leaks = non visible
air filter = brand new
fuel filter = brand new
solenoid boost valve = brand new
turbo wheel = nice and clean spinning freely and not worn

the car drives around the doors perfectly fine with no malfunction error.

just when i pull onto the motorway

anyone car to shed any light on this for me its greatly anticipated
