Friend of mine is selling a few bits and this is in workshop

I’ve never seen a Kent engine with injection and turbo????

Also has front mounted intercooler, only crap bit is it’s a 4dr

 

Buy it bet that's real fun.

All depends on what the price is.

The boys on retrorides will bite your hand off for that.

 

Lol I could prob have it myself a little cheaper if asked spose, but it has cold start issue almost like needs a choke spose it’s a bit of a project it cane from South Africa few years ago

Bonnet is plastic or fibreglass too

Wonder if there was a tuning company in South Africa who did the engine conversion? It must be the only crossflow with injectors and turbo. Certainly a different route to power as most Crssflow 1600s go down the usual stage 3 head, high lift cam,tubular exhaust and twin 40 or 45 dcoe side draught webers.

 

Strut tops look too small for the holes in the inner wing???
Looks like a nice project,nowt wrong with a more door escort.
There are a few x/flow turbos on you tube..
