Default race Yb 205,comp/ratio help

hi Pete here racing my Escort Mk1 in CTCRC Boss.
Engine speck.Bore 92mm
Stroke 76.95mm
Block cc 2046cc
Pistons Wiseco WKE103M92AP @ + 0.20" above block deck.
20.2cc Bowl
Gasket new in stock WRC 1.3mm Victor Reinz
Worried if low compression ratio like 6to1 need 8to1
Injectors Seimans 55lb/ 500cc Hybrid Turbo good for two bar L6 ECU,re mapped for above.
So where do i go,how muck can i skim or other head gasket.
Hands up not measured head high, but its oped up ported and knife edged.
cheers troops Pete

Give Mark Shead a shout at MA developments, he will be able to tell you how high you can go, get him to build it. He won’t map that ecu anymore though as he uses the new stuff.

Your pistons should of came with the compression ratio which is what you would end up with if you had a standard height head and block, so if you’ve skimmed anything off your head ect then it will only be higher compression, especially as your using standard thickness head gasket.

I’d be more worried about your bore thickness, you must be on +1.2mm?

Default yb ratio inquiry

Thanks reply,as said must see & measure head,138mm to look for ? Top to face ?
That's a back ground worry @ 92mm bore, but in previous block racing stayed @ 85/90 tempt, but when using a commetic 0.080 5 layer with ARP studs ecu was at fault, abit lean on issue number 3 if played up. So when turned out second race on heat soak,10 minutes in would dump coolant. So hence re block re configure this build.cheer Pete

139mm is standard yb head measurement.

You need to cc head and then you can calculate compression ratio. Google compression ratio calculator and fill all numbers in. At a first look you will be around 8/1
