Lightbulb Weak interior air vent flow

Hello fellow ford lovers,

I drive a beauty of a ford focus mk1 1.8 TDDI estate, but I have an issue with the 'power' that interior air vents blow in to the car, specifically the air vents that are closest to the driver and passenger windows!

Does anyone know what the issue could be? I've had a quick search online but can't seem to find any reasonable explanation to what it could be.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers guys and gals!

Hi there,

Yes the fan works on all speeds and temperatures. The two centre fans work as they should, but its mainly the side fans closest to the front driver and passenger doors that give little to no air out. If i put my hand to it you can feel a faint air flow.

Thanks for the reply.

Probably a blocked pollen filter.

Is it a recent fault or always done it? It always then possible someone's had dash apart and not put the blower/vent tubes back on properly

Second this, make sure it is resealed properly when you fit another, otherwise water will be allowed into the passenger foot well.

I bet Ritchie is correct. My mate had a mk2 focus like this. The pollen filter was blocked.
