im new to all this online stuff come to think of it new to fords aswel so please bair with me lol 1st off iv been made well aware that what I plan to do is more money and Agro than it’s worth but I want to do it anyway iv just got a mk6 or mk7 escort 55 van iv never drove anything so slow but for some reason iv fallen in love with the old girl this is what I plan to do is buy a 1.8 16v xr2i engine that iv oredy located I want to use carbs instead of the injection system iver Webber 40s or bike carbs has anyone on here done this befor? If someone has and can point me the right way I’d be very great full few things I need to know one being how do I get around not useing the ecu and what parts I’m going to need to do away with the ecu
