Hi, I'm doing some repairs on my defender 90 and while im at it want to uodate the interior and change the colour of the grey dash to black, never painted a dash was thinking of just a plastic primer and then using Simoniz tough satin black, any info if this will work or if it'll flake off or a better way much a appreciated

 

I used Halfords vinyl spray paint to paint a grey dash black a few years ago, worked very well

 

Consider flocking it.

 

I also used a 3 part spray from Halfords to change the colour. foliatec or something it was called and it lasted well and didn't scrape off.
