Feeling old now

 

I feel old knowing that now .

 

20 years wow, still remember seeing them come out on top gear..

never even been in one myself..

 

I remember seeing one on test in the Peak District before they came out.

Now I feel old.

 

Makes the escort 50 years old!!!

Would never have thought they where 20 years old, not a car I’ve ever liked the look of even when they where new.

 

agree on the focus and how they look, I used to know someone that put focus headlights on a mk4 escort - guy ruined that car just to get the mag feature

Just goes to show, you think you have all the time in the world when you are a kid and in school, then time just seems to get quicker the older you get

 

Bloody hell.

First time I saw an onion as a teenager I thought it was the weirdest escort I had ever come across, ended up owning a few Ghia Injections and they were good cars.

Focus, again stumbled on one in an M&S carpark about a week after they were released and was very impressed, it looked stunning, the Mk1 still does, even now when I walk up to my old 53 plate estate work horse it does not look out of place in a multi story full of virtually new cars.

When the mk1 focus first come out to replace the mk6 escort I thought what the fook have Ford done.

Me and the Mrs used to have a 53reg focus. It was a cracking car. Shame the rear inner arches were fookin rotten.

We have a 10 plate focus now and it's a ok car but when doing over 60 mph it just seems a lot louder inside than the mk1.5 focus was.
