Greetings ladies and gents,
My mk4 escort is from spain and has the wheel on the left side. Now just today I realized that when I turn the key in the driver door, the power locks cycle twice but dont actually lock.

I was wondering if anyone here could tell me if that is a normal problem... The car locks fine from the passenger (riight side) door, I don't want to spend unecessary money figuring this out.
