i have owned a 3door cosworth project for about 10 year and have recently been debating whether to sell it
its a complete bear shell but with all the parts to build a very good one.
my question is what parts are still available either genuine or not like the brake pipes that have probably got lost over the years
what i dont want to do is get stuck in and find a load of small parts that are no longer available

There a loads of bits available but you need to be wary of the Cosworth Tax on the rarer bits. Things like brake lines are simple to make yourself but something like a non cracked dash might cost a bit.

been missing from the car game for a bit so not up to scratch on what parts are rare I know things like making the brake pipes but it's like is the green coated pipe still available and what are the rearist parts

Original header tank; dash , wheel caps ,wheel locks , front door cards , rear spoiler caps , ford badges , original heatshield , abs pump , etc etc. Some very hard to find some very expensive ,,,,,

 

you can get the green coated pipe on ebay, remember its steel so you will need a decent flarer

 

I have got the ABS pump and a header tank spare

 

Theres a guy on ebay that does the fuel lines and brake lines already made up

you'd be better off putting it together and getting it sorted. It will be worth more and have more interest in one piece.
