Nice car

It's nice to see some normal Sierras still knocking about, wish I'd never sold the 2.0i Ghia hatchback that I'd had since I was 16 last year but I had nowhere to keep it it anymore

Good luck with it mate!

Some nice cars here, will these ever achieve "Classic" status? they rarely feature in classic media like Practical classic or Classic car weekly?

Love the colour scheme, looks a bit different to the usual,
The lower blackouts are reminiscent of the legendary Cortina XR6 that was such a hit in South Africa.

Heres mine, stock 2L EFI auto for now, in process of converting to manual.

I like the two tone. And it looks good as it is. But lower is most of the time for not to say always, better.

Hi there,
Yes sorry for the late reply, but I did convert it to manual . Had bought another car just for the 5 speed but al the smaller bits definitely came in handy, ie pedal box, reverse light harness, speed cable etc.
The car is now really fun to drive. Especially from the robots, you can really launch her, with a bit of sideways action.
All in all definitely worth the conversion, from a Sunday morning cruiser to Saturday niter bruiser.
