Default Ford transit 260 Swb and year 2002

Hi folks I am new to this i have just bought a ford transit 260 and it is year 2002, was wondering if any transit men are women have come across this problem... I would drive my transit for approx 5 miles then it will not take acceleration but engine still running then I would stop engine and wait a minute the drive for another bit then same problem occurs does anyone know the problem please as I have just bought this vehicle from a guy but he's not willing to give my money back...

thinl it's just 2 litre turbo diesel could the problem because the sensor at the acceleration pedal faulty cheers glen

Could be a number f things Mate. It's probably a Tddi at that age.

If you're mfp 66 then Ned's on the case. He's had loads of trouble with his recently and sorted it all out himself.

A throttle pedal would be worth a try. They are easy to remove/replace.
