I may have asked this before somewhere. Anyway, the fan on my B Max keeps on going for about 5 minutes after I've turned the engine off. Is this something
that is unique to Fords? I've never had this with other cars and I'm worried it will drain the battery.

If the engine is running a bit hot (have you checked radiator etc for any leaks)
then the fan will keep running after you switch off to cool it down. Perfectly normal operation but it should only keep going for a short time.

Thanks Cossy, it only seems to happen after short journeys.

Petrol or diesel? If diesel you could be interrupting the dpf regen? It is quite normal as have noticed it on a few of my fords, but it runs on for no more than a minute.
