Default Is an auto Citroen c3 worth a weeks wages?

It's got 5 doors
Air con
And it's an auto

All the things I'm looking for in a small car

But at 10 years old, is it worth spinning a weeks wages buying the thing or should I run away?

Could be a good one could be a shitter. My mates mrs ran one for years and it was alright mostly, then the gear change started playing up a bit.

If it's a proper slush box, then go for it - If cared for they're usually more robust than a manual.

If it's a robotised manual box, run a mile because you're looking at a used hand grenade.

I agree with this, I've never come across a decent semi auto system (manual box controlled automatically) from any manufacturer after 20 years of being in the motor trade! Normal auto is far far better.

Loads of supercars have robotised manual boxes and theyre really good, theres no way I'd swap my paddles for a stick in my car, you'd never change gear as fast either . My wifes Audi has the twin clutch type transmission and that's fine too. But back on topic, leave that C3 alone!!!

My sisters got an auto Citroen c4, she's had it 18 months and only had a wheel bearing go on it, she was adamant she wanted that car and there was no talking her out of it but to be fair it's been ok. Done a major service and timing belt on it this year and hopefully will be ok. It's a 56 plate and is really nice to drive.
