Default Zetec turbo exhaust

Hi, I'm currently putting together a zetec turbo engine, I have an erst exhaust manifold with Subaru td04 turbo,
what I'm thinking to make more room for the turbo/radiator is to move the turbo over the gearbox, could I just use some 2.5" pipe with manifold flange on one end and turbo flange on the other?? Is it as simple as that?
Then re route the exhaust down pipe

Cheers

If you go that route then I wouldn't bother with the erst mani' and adapters ect. The cheap focus mani' would do the job.

Keeping it where it was has got to be easier for plumbing the oil feed and returns as you can use the Focus Rs of the shelf bits.

I have a scooby Td04 on one of mine. The flanges where around a tenner a side on eBay.

Thanks lads, the reason I want to move it is so I don't have to cut any of the car to fit the radiator and intercooler as it's going into a mk2 xr2

Cheers
