Hello everybody, I got a problem and i want some advice :
5 mounths ago i bought a ford fiesta 1.4 tdci 2001 model and when i got it the airbag light was on ,the guy that i bought it sayed it was a minor fix [just the wire was a bit messed up , nothing that a ducktape can't fix]
When i checed out what was the problem i saw that in both front seats there was no side airbags and on the driver seat the wire from the car to the seat was missing.Than i tried to find the wires so i could extend it at least and fix the cars airbag, but as i took of the carpet there was no wire on the driver side .
I know now that the car was praety hard bumped from the lef


I want to ask you if you have a wire diagram of the airbags so i can find out where i can add the wires myself . And if someone ca show some pictures/tell me where the pretensioning device is on the driver side i wil really apreciate
The airbag light gives code 12 (1 blink ,long pause ,2blinks )
And after i mount the airbags do i need to reprogram the computers for airbags and pre tensioning?

you just need to change the air bag control module


on the focus pre 2002 the seats did not have airbags and its probably the same for the fiesta

 

Thank you , but my girlfriend has a fiesta too (same year) and hear seats have airbags , the wire from the car to the seat on my right seat is stil present and conected
