Hi, i have a 2010 fiesta 1.6 tdci, that has gone into limp mode. When you plug in scanner it come up with PO299 code. it will clear but under acceleration will come back . any ideas ?

Check absolutely every hose for splits or leaks, check the wastegate is closing properly and check all small vacuum hoses for splits and that there are none disconnected. Also check the EGR valve isn't stuck open. It's normally something basic and simple that causes a code like that to come up.

Just had this it was the Pressure Converter Valve on our 1.6 tdci focus. it is on the back of the engine just above the driveshaft. More info on this thread https://passionford.com/forum/ford-f...ci-2009-a.html

Default P0299 underboost problem

Did you ever fix this issue? Im having it now and have replaced the pressure converter valve.
