Not posted this up before, but this is another of my esxorts.
Kept/keeping this one road kegal! ATM subtle spec and nice standard engine with what I'd call low mikags RS!
Has coil overs but there not to harsh so keeping them on for now.
Other than also adding my comp FR's she's how I'm happy with her, new tyres going on Friday as current ones are track tyres, just some Toyo's but there good enough as shs's only a cruiser.
But as I can't drive her atm either she'll be going on sxle stands and covered up on drive way for now... but she'll also be pottered around on as there bits I'd like to tidy up to make her perfect.
But I'm sure she'll evolve naturally over the coming hears like all my others have loo
Hope ya like her.

Thanks man, yeh I agree her looks seem to work real well as she is atm so not gona make massive changes yet, I may fit some morettes at some point but not sure yet as this is the first time I've ever liked the look of standard shape lights in an RS lol
Thanks lads, I can't wait to see her tomorrow on proper tyres!

Na, I've worked really hard for a lot of years for what I have now and trying my hardest to keep things also now as I can't work yet, also not being able to work on my own cars is frustrating but I try and enjoy motivating myself by looking at them and posting pics about them lol
That looks real nice, I've never been a fan of this shape escort but you seem to have a knack of making normal cars look awesome, not a lot of people can pull that off mate nice one

I think the lights on it now are keepers, definately suit it better than morettes
I was contemplating morettes but I agree the lights on this are working real well. They are tinted inside and also have Ford Plastic Pritective covers on, which I've never used before but just seem to work on this one.
I'm not a fan of and will have to be removed is the front lower rubber splitter, not sure what it's off but I really don't like it and it bugs me when I see it lol
Peoper red was one of the best colours on the MK6 but vary rare sadly.
I've built a turbo lump in a mates RS2K and its 350ish bhp and goes likenstink! So defo would be good if I put one in this one day, the buikd I have in workshop is good for 450bhp too so would be mental!
She's back on drive now, I had to start work on rear arches breifly yesterday as after night the struts had settled and the rear tyre scunned bad, but all good now and great clearance.
Going to pop to Halfords in a bit for some tyre pens haha
She don't look to bad next to Rusty.

Bit of a drama with the wheels!

When my mate fitted um for me I wasn't happy with the GrpA nuts! They didn't fit as to length so I removed 5mm off all nuts but then when bolted up I didn't like the look of the cambered seat. So I've done a bit of research and measuring and found 11/16" nuts with camber washer that look perfect, so hopefully have then this week.
Then next!

When we test fitted the comps with track tyres, they caught the arches and showed me that the arches have been replaced at some point, and done well infact but! who ever prepped it for paint put unnessary filler on the arch lips, just didn't make any sense as under the filler metal work was like new, shape was also fine! Must of been a YTS! So as I don't like rolled arches and I've fitted 8J et15's I've removed the lip and just left 5mm now, so lots of clearance.
Rust treated the metal and etch primed, not got any pint atm but at least untill I have they look good and are weather proofed!
