Bought myself a red F reg rs turbo in January this year ..car had only done around 110miles in 8 years after a restoration and the owner having a stroke and left unable to drive again...car was looking very 90s ..with clear indicators and smoked Arics in the rear ..I soon got to work changing to ambers and original rears ..also added a rs 3 spoke ..new alternator and a transit connect starter motor ..had a new alarm fitted and started cleaning her up ...I got it booked in for a set up in February at MSD and it turned out it was poorly and only making 88psi on bore 3 ..so its been off the road since and I've been getting all the bits ready for a steel CVH build as im liking the idea of keeping subtle / standardish looking ...spec is

Hi yea I'm very keen on eye for detail ..turbo is a BW 6258 and management I'm still undecided mate at the moment .

Yea mate ..cars that clean it would be criminal to have put the forged Zetec engine in .. liking staying CVH .

im absolutely choking to get this back on the road ..just got to wait for engineer to get back of holiday and then get the block decked, bored and the crank polished and measured then can order the bearings get it built and fitted then im going to run it in on MFI until ive collected all the bits over xmas to convert to management ..

 

ive knocked up a crackle black ported inlet for running it in on MFi for now

 

also got a brand new stage 2 Hybrid from vince @ Turbo performance to run it in on .

 

also bought a proper clutch kit ..AP Racing CP2000-35.

2 boxes of ford assorted screws clips nuts bolts etc .

 

Nice job on having the bolts etc in order I like to have it the same way. Much easier later on when mounting it all together. Proper clutch and turbo LIke it alot

Well my new exhaust came today ..a nice 3" outward rolled tip mongoose ..should sit a lot better and sound nice just needs buffing and polishing .
