Default Rough running cossie

Would a chunk missing out of my bottom pulley caus the car to run like shit ? All 4 pickups are still there just a big chunk missing between the pickups , sure I read a thread on here once and this was the caus of a bad running 2wd Sierra, just want to make sure before I buy a new one

It certainly doesn't sound right, if it has a chunk missing then replace it....I imagine it is way out do balance, them get it 100% checked as could be any number of things.

When I say chunk it's just a chip out of it, about 3/4 an inch long , I think I remember someone having a problem where it was throwing the crank signal out as it was picking it up along with the actual pick ups

It's possibly seeing the chunk as a trigger point and that's the cause of the issue like you say.
