Gents this has been asked before, but there's been no definitive answer really from what I can gather.

Im looking at getting a sump baffle for my ST170 as I'm planning on using slicks on track. There seems to be loads of red ones available which I guess are for conversions.

or does the lack of fwd configurations mean that they actually aren't needed?
Some advice from people who know these engines well would be really appreciated. I know there's is wet sump systems available, but this is a cheap track car.
