Hi All

I sourced a hardtop and it's brackets for my wife's streetka and am going to have a try at fitting the brackets one weekend before the winter arrives so it will be prepared to bolt the hard top on. Has anyone fitted one before? Can you give me any tips or advice regarding roof alignment etc when refitting the softop with the brackets? I don't want to create issues with leaking etc. I thought about using chalk to draw around the current bolt holes and softop brackets but don't know if that will help at all when fitting the hardtop brackets.

My TT has a label in the boot from Audi to show it was modded for the roof, was or is there a dealer mod to fit it. Must be a YouTube how to?

 

Thanks, as far as i know the hardtop only came on the winter edition or where it was selected as an optional extra from new. I have looked all over you tube for any guidance videos on fitting but the only streetka videos are of putting the softop up and down.
