Hi can you still buy grs intercoolers for series 2 rs turbo? Looking at one to replace my airtec front mount as I'm looking to go around 220bhp maybe a bit more and I'm. It sure the airtec can cope with that. Is it possible to run twin fans inbetween the grs cooler and radiator? I was looking at the airtec rs500 style but don't want the reverse charge carrier and it's rather expensive

Airtec single pass should be fine at 220bhp, my zt escort uses one at just under 300bhp at the flywheel. With plans for a bit more boost to come.

 

Have you tried calling GRS? I suppose that would be the easiest way to find out? Would be good to know if they are still trading! Their intercoolers are outstanding!!

I had a grs intercooler on my turbo in around 2000, quality piece of kit, bought it back when we ordered on the phone

 

Rad tec do an rs500 style thick core single pass for the s2 and they are as good as you can buy try them
