zetec turbo tappy top end
Hi guys
Hopping for a bit of advice, my 2.0 zt silver top gets really tappy on the top end once the car is up to temperature, on cold start its totally fine but once it start getting warmer the tapping gets louder. iv changed the oil a couple of times trying different brands (5w30) but it didn't make any difference so I changed the hydraulic tappets but that didn't help its sounds the same.
I have noticed my oil pressure is pretty low on hot idle around 8-10psi but soon as I take the engine speed to 1k-rpm and above its back to normal but no matter what speed I hold the car at it keeps tapping?
