Hi everyone, im new to this and looking for a bit of advice, i have a fiesta mk6 2004 1.3 duratec that when i go to start from cold, will not idle at all unless i throttle it and keep the revs for approx 5mins then it will idle by itself and will start and run fine when warm, when it goes stone cold the problem re-appears. its been on diagnostics with no stored codes and i have been told it could be the i.c.v but then others have told me it hasn't got a seperate i.c.v as it is part of the throttle body? can anyone confirm this for me/give me any guidance as i dont want to buy unnecessary parts, ive also been told it could be the t.p.s.
If there is a sperate i.c.v can someone show me a diagram of its location please? Any help or info will be greatly appreciated, thankyou very much.
