I saw an old post a while ago that they could be reconditioned, that was a while ago may have been a bosch dealer/agent.

Default Metering unit

I have reconditioned metering unit myself, advised not to but it's easy if you got abit of mechanical knowledge, just be careful as the insides will ping out and you want to see how it comes apart so you can put the bits in the right way, recon kit is available on eBay, would take you an hour at most

KMI do them but the EMFPA are just set to factory settings and fitted with new o-rings... These drift out of calibration and is often the cause of incorrectly fuelling RST's, I do not believe they are available new.
