I have a snap auto dark helmet that will go dark for a couple of seconds that go light and flash your eyes. I haven't used it for a while and it looks a sealed unit. Iam I right in thinking it should recharge with sun light???

 

Most of them have a small watch battrey inside you have to strip then down to find it mate

 

I've been looking on the net and you tube on how to change them. I've also seen it might need leaving in the sun for a day or two to try and recharge the battery. It's only around two years old so the battery shouldn't been knackered and it says you should store it in the bag provided which I have.

 

I have a sealey one that's about 5 years old, never had any probs but I leave it hung up on the workshop wall facing the window so it gets plenty of light
