hi, guys. i fitted a replacement dashpod (2004 focus tdci ) a few days ago, due to speedo/rev counter going wild ! most times not working at all. is this a common fault ? i need to get mileage reset from 134,600 back to my original of 113,200 this is for my insurance & service history, anyone in tyneside area do it at a good price? thanks guys. steve.

 

its not a home diy job, dealers will normally only do this if a new cluster is purchased but there are companys around that offer mileage correction services which is your only option

 

On a 04 TDI Focus is it really worth it?

It's not like it's going to massively affect the resale value one way or the other

 

hi, monster. thanks for the reply. im not selling the focus the mileage reset is mostly for my insurance /mot /. i went over my 5000 miles a year with age uk insurance & got stung £100 from them, due to a bump from a van. & when this 1 goes i will buy another !cheers m8 steve
