Having stripped down the front end of my Escort Cosworth,cleaned ,painted ,rebuilt etc . The power steering is shuddering when you turn from lock to lock. With the car jacked up its fine.There is fluid movement in the power steering bottle and it was fine before I stripped it down can anybody help?

 

possibly have air in,have you tried to bleed it?

 

It's had new fluid in it turning from lock to lock. I have even tried the return hose in a bucket while filling the bottle up with engine running. But no luck can you get the pressure and return hose wrong on the steering rack?
