Hi People I got a new Key Flob from Ebay I have paired it with the locks but I can't start the car because the key will now not start the engine what can I do because I can not drive the car.. X REG 1.6 LX Auto ...

Put the immobiliser chip out of your old key into the new one.

 

Yeah you would of forgotten the chip for immobilizer. Either that or its to far away from the transponder ring.

 

How do I change the chip over ?? and where is in the flob ... thx

 

Try taking the old key into the car and then try starting with the new one - It might just work! Good Luck.
