Rx8 6speed gearbox and diff conversion for a Sierra v6 I removed this from my twin turbo cosworth v6 Sierra rally cross car as I'm now going 4wd so now selling all the 2wd bits plus the spares
The rear axle comes with a main hoop modified to take the Rx8 diff from a 6 speed Rx8 and one off custom made drive flanges to take the standard 100mm Sierra drive shafts.This will be hoop and diff only plus a spare diff no arms or drive shafts
This bolts straight into the standard main hoop mounts on the car but you will need to make two hangers on the car for the rear diff but I can show you what I done on mine.


The gearbox conversion comes with adaptor plate for the ford v6 engine to Rx8 gearbox and all the bolts.
Two 6 speed Rx8 gearboxs one standard gearstick and one extended gearstick
Custom gearbox mount but will need to make a couple or mounts on the car for it.
Cable clutch adaptor so you can run the original Sierra clutch cable or if you running bias pedel box like I was can run the Rx8 hydraulic slave
4 paddle clutch kit no flywheel unless I can find my spare one but if not all you need is a standard v6 ford flywheel
Two Rx8 carbon props although you would need to move the engine back like I did to run these but will also come with brand new modded gearbox rear oil seal that can be fitted to the Rx8 gearbox so you can run theirs prop in the Rx8 gearbox

I do have a standard 24v cosworth v6 engine loom and ecu and an emerald ecu and loom for a cosworth v6 if you wanted to go turbo this could all be brought as well at extra cost but is not included in this auction

 

How much for the standard 24v engine, loom and ecu? May be interested in gearbox, prop and diff package too. What are the gear ratios like for the 24v lump (short/long)? I'll be using them in my drift car I'm building. I guess you drifted it by your user name?

 

The gearbox and diff setup sold on eBay tonight although the person has not contacted me yet and the engine and loom I would want £400

 

And ratios are good really gives a good pull off the mark and then not too short for top end. It's hard to say what they are like compared to a road car as it was all in my rallycross Sierra
