Exclamation 2004 fiesta 1.2 duratec.core plugs

hi looking for some advice.Im new here so hope I'm posting in the correct area.I recently bought a 2004 fiesta duratec needs few things done to it but overall runs well but the other day I decided to check the condition of the spark plugs and noticed that there has been a coolant leak at some pont every spark plug chamber has orange residue same colour as the coolant in it and the ht leads are orange aswell.Im assuming this has had the core plugs replaced at some point as its not losing coolant the in time ive had it and runs ok but I'm wondering the best way to clean inside the spark plug chamber area to remove the orange stuff before I replace plugs and leads.

thanks for any advice

steven
