Hello again
, time for a new thread.
Righto, webstie now has an update (with another to come shortly) with the registration forms online:
http://www.gtbattle.com/compete.asp
The Reyland Sierra is a confirmed entry, as is Warren Kelly, and we really do need you guys to start filling in the forms and sending them in if you want to chance to compete.
As you know (or may not) Time Attack is a Japanese format and the honour of being the first to take a Time Attack trophy in the UK is up for grabs. Now bear in mind the Jap tuners and car owners think it's a given the win belongs to them
.
Also the 0-60 is gaining popularity and can be entered into by the public.
Oh and Drifting. Even if you aren't into Drifting I hope you will want to see it as it is a great spectacle. I know a lot of people put it down but until you have seen it done properly it's a bit hard to judge. We have a great Drift event going on the same day (and at the same time) with a headliner driver and car to be announced shortly.
A lot of off-track entertainment will be going on as well. Details of this will be updated
Fire away with any questions.
Oh and by the way we have listened to peoples requests and we are now running classes, FWD, RWD and 4WD. The main trophy will be given to the quickest lap in the final, irrespective of class, but class winners will still receive honors on the day
.
Bye for now.
Glen
ps. who do I send the press release to?
