A mate of mine's dad used to own G53 VPG, he's wondering if it's still around or where It is now? we've saw the pic on the S2 database, it's a mercury grey number.

Yes its still about.
My mate bought the car nearly a year ago and he's done quite a bit of work to it. But his circumstances have changed so I've decided to take it on. Still needs a bit of welding finishing

but its in good shape to be fair

My mate owned this in the Teesside area for about 2 years.
would have been around 2005/2006.
i had a saff cossie at the time & we were part of the Cleveland group.
it was stage 1 & he had a stainless exhaust fitted,apart from that it was standard & in lovely condition.
i might have some photos of it in the loft.
any more recent pics of it?
what work does it need?
