Hi, as above really
I tried these super bright 24 led bulbs with the resistor....the resistor got hot but bulb wouldn't light up, so they sent me another and again nothing.
Will led's work in the reverse light fitting?
or can I get brighter standard bulbs (is it 21w standard)

the reverse & foglights on the 170 are all wired up back to front with a positive earth, so only way to fit led style bulbs is to reverse the polarity as I have 2 reverse led lights on my 170

So did you just wire the LH reverse from the right hand reverse wires?

as I break 170s I simply cut the loom on a donor car and made a patch lead reversing the wires taking the feed from the left and simply running reversed wires to left & right with correct polarity, the foglights in the front are also wired arse about face too
