Fitting an aftermarket pedal box but not sure what size to spec the master cylinders.

What have people got as there setup and what m/s bore sizes please?

 

Are you going for a bias pedal box? Normally the likes of comp brake sell you the spec of master to match the car. I have a comp brake kit here that I was running on my 4x4 and it worked well, it would probably fit your car as it just bolts on to where the servo would bolt to your pedal box. The problem with bias boxes is you have to push hard, this is fine but as I have 5 cars I was getting in the modern stuff and nearly flying through the windscreen as my leg had got used to the shove needed on the non servo setup.

I can look on mine to see the sizes, I used ap cylinders and the rear is different to the front.

 

As I guide people run .625 front .7 on rear. I'm running .7 front .75 rear on a Tilton and the pedal is great. Those Compbrake boxes I've heard bad things about, but with my floor mount, it's brilliant.

Yes its a floor mount tilton but have not spec'd brakes or any m/cylinders

It's a estate with the back strip out so was not going to change the rear drums.

2.0 blacktop with mtx box so need to spec clutch m/cylinder also

Lol I know what ur saying about getting used of applying a certain pressure, I once tried to brake using the clutch leg..... me burger and chips all in the footwell!

Why the slightly bigger bore than normal on urs Muz? What brakes u running?

 

Just what I was advised. .625 clutch, .7 front . 75 rear AP short cylinder. Got Evo 8 Brembos front and rear. Pedal feel is spot on.
