Im looking to upgrade my zetec turbo engine with the addition of forged rods. It started off as a zvh so i unblocked the oil galleries and turned it to 16v.

Its currently fitted with accralite zvh forged pistons standard rods arp rod bolts on a silvertop bottom end. Ive managed to fit a blacktop head with uprated springs.

Having spotted some eagle rods on ebay that are listed for a blacktop would i be able to fit these in a silvertop bottom end and pistons?

Also regarding bearings would it be worth buying standard size ones for both the rods and mains or wait until its all apart? If I wait how do I go about measuring them too see what size I do need.
