Default Should I remove the paint inside a new sump

So beeing fed up with my leaking sump gaskets( 4th one, and still leaking at gearbox side) and having tried all tips on this forum, I am starting to beleive my sump is warped.
I can't find a genuine one, so looking for a decent aftermarket one.
One think I don't know, if I have to remove the black paint fron the inside of the sump?
I can image that a oil pickup could be blocked by paint chips?

Any tips?

Thanks.

.

I've got an aftermarket one mate, was replaced before I had the car, but I reused it when I turbo'd mine, the paint in side was fine. Pretty sure it's powder coat.

Seen a lot of engine builders in the US paint the inside of blocks, it'll be fine mate.
