The AP brakes are a good price and should sell pretty quickly. I think its probably good that you didnt use your car with the AP brakes as the difference between them and standard Cosworth brakes is like night and day.

Yes,sold my 18" th's yesterday.
Had a bit of interest but no deposits yet.
If they don't sell I'll put them in loft as there's other comps I like so I could swap from standard to big if I feel like it.

Can I ask why you decided not to stick with the the 18s and fit the AP brakes? Would have been an awesome combination and your braking would have been twice as good as with standard brakes.

I like the standard lattice wheels more than the th's and they won't fit over the big brakes, that's all.

4x4 calipers, you don't get big discs that fit inside narrow non vented disc type 2wd calipers.

Any reason why these wouldn't fit on an escort cossie lee ?

I have braided hoses on atm which I guess would still be long enough as the caliper won't be in that much of a different position ???

They will fit a escort. And i would guess the flexi's would be longer.

Hi,yes, the escort and 4x4 sierra use the same hubs and calipers so these will bolt straight on.
Rgds the brake hose, the way the bracket is made it makes the caliper sit further back and down than where it normally sits so i don't think it needs any other hose length than standard as my standard length braided flexi has a bit if slack in it now.
The handbrake cable needs pulled through the eye on the wishbone a bit,if anything a longer handbrake cable would be better but again,it doesn't cause a problem.
Hope that helps,lee.
