Default Focus 2007 1.8tdci coolant temperature switch

Hello all,

I need some help to locate the temperature sensor of my Ford Focus 2007 1.8tdci engine. I am suspecting that something is wrong with the fan as it is not switching on when the temperature rises.

Can anyone guide me as to where the switch is located. If you own a focus with a 1.8tdci engine and can share some pictures about the location of the switch, I will greatly appreciate it.

Many thanks and happy Sunday to all ford enthusiasts

Does the car have air con? If so when you switch the air con onto cold does the fans work then.

Must be a fan temp switch fault. I know some fords the fan is controlled by the engine ecu and not a switch in the rad like older cars.
