What valve springs do people recommend to use with a Newman phase 4 cam? Can get hold off brand new genuine ford springs for a good price as I've heard Kent, piper and Newman single springs aren't as good as genuine ford springs. Don't know how true this is. It's a phase 4 sprint cam going in an xr2 with stage 2 head and twin 40s not an rs turbo

Standard ford springs are fine. Have run them in multiple engines with n/a ph4 cams

 

As Harry has said standard Ford springs is what's best.
