I paid £1300 for a new 200 block 21 years ago so yours is a very good price.

 

Used one of these new on my engine and it came in a box that said ford boreham all over it, turned out to be a new cast non Turkish block which was confirmed when I took it to a specialist, same as this block very rare and sought after shouldn't have a problem getting what your asking for it.

 

Thought that would've gone been on bay ages as said though for big power you don't really want a mint block if its gonna be dug out for liners be good for a std resto car

The right person will want it, think money is just tight at the moment, my 500 block sold for a lot more and within 10 mins of going up for sale, so the price is right.
