Hi All

My rs turbo/s1 speedo has never worked

Iv checked the cable thats fine put a different set of clocks in still nothing

The car drivers fine and all gears work spot on dont slip nothing can drive it hard and still fine

Gearbox was rebuilt afew years ago with lsd etc the car hasn't gone anywhere


Anyone know what mite be up with it

Is the drive for the cable fitted in the gearbox?

If you turn the speedo cable manually does the speedo react?

Faulty speedo drive in the box, it is removable when you remove the roll pin. Also check the length of the inner cable, I've had the end 5 or 6 MM. Snap off in the past.
