Default Garrett GT30.71 turbo with cosworth style exhaust flange

Genuine Garrett GT30.71 turbo with cosworth style exhaust flange.

Excellent condition with no play. Originally bought for a Zetec turbo project which I am now breaking.

Listing is for turbo only, not the engine pictured.

Cheers

I think buying these 2 items would get you nearly the same as that listed in this thread;

I don't know, I assume from your message you do? Would be kind enough to enlighten me?

I bought this turbo along with an engine capable of power in excess of 450bhp and an Omex management from the deputy editor of Classic Ford magazine. They were used in the restoration / build of a 1968 cortina. I mention this as the parts were bought to my attention by the reputable company building my car and I paid £750 for the turbo. I have sold the engine and Omex and returned for those items what I paid. It is an educated guess that the turbo is also worth what I paid. Unless of course you can show me otherwise....

Regards

Only the one link seems to work for me. That shows the turbo without housing for £644.73. I'm not mechanically minded (hence my using a Motorsport company to build my car) so I'm not sure how to find out how much the housing would be and the exhaust flange.

Cheers

The link should work now. I believe that is the only place to buy an exhaust housing to fit the standard manifold (for a GT30/35) and it is from the USA.

I'm not sure, I can find out tomorrow. If it helps it was mated to a 2.0 Zetec blacktop. This is 1 of the pics I have;

That's useful, thanks. That would be around £300 (plus tax) plus £650 for the turbo, so new, around £950.

I'm asking £750 which isn't unreasonable, although I would consider a sensible offer.

Thanks for the links, I'm better informed than I was!
