Been lurking on here a few years now so thought i'd put some pics up of my latest project, after selling my mk2 mex early last year I ended up buying a Subaru spec c but then came across this and just had to have it
1 owner and 50k miles from new , been off the road since 2005. not messed with bar an exhaust and what looks like ice blue injectors? All original panels and never welded.

Very nice indeed.
Exhaust doesn't count these days as being messed with, comes under standard spec to maintain.
So standard it couldn't be played with

 

looks nice. Its been many years since i have seen a std radio and amp working in a saff.

I would be checking those injectors tho to be on the safe side.

Cheers its a stainless copy of original exhaust.

 

Had no sound to start with, replaced the fuse for the amp and got noise
Even more surprised that everything works on the car

Yeah pretty much no plans to up the power that's what my Subaru is for
Maybe poly bushes, koni's and that sort of thing?

 

If it was mine it would stay completely o.e.. With the underside finished how it would be from factory too

 

Still not 100% what way to go yet still at the stripping stage.
Won't be going daft with mods though.....couldn't afford to lol

 

One owner low mileage car like that it would be sacrilege to do any other than going standard.. plus it'll be worth considerably more

 

That's what I keep thinking, but I don't want to be chasing gen ford parts either lol

Yeah to be fair that was the appeal of how original and complete the car was, you just don't find them like that anymore.

 

And on top of that its magenta as well

Yeah that's me I'm a glutton for punishment, this will be my 5th cosworth and 2nd Subaru. Unfortunately the Subaru may have to go soon

A chap up the road from me had one exactly the same from new for years then it disappeared....always wondered what happened to it. With it coming from Wylies It may well be it?

Think I've managed about 100 metres Not long got it and drove off the trailer into the garage, its now in a lot of bits

Thanks mate, the interior is great door cards are all spot on with no shrinkage and head cloth doesn't sag either

How did you come across it? I've found a black J plate sitting in a yard that I need to ask about, looks too clean to be cheap though lol.

 

No fear of that it'll get used as much as possible when finished

Got shown a pic of it on a Thursday morning, looked at it Thursday night and had it home by Friday night bit of an impulse buy, or as I call them a hairy arsed school boy moment

 

Better buying them and thinking later, before anyone else gets their hands on it !!
